La Concha Italian Restaurant.
Chef Richard Morana has worked in Italian restaurants in the city for many years, and now runs his own restaurant. It’s a family affair, as Richard is in the kitchen whilst his wife Angela is front of house with Francesca. There is a maximum of 30 covers so that Richard can enjoy producing high quality cuisine for a finite number of diners. Expect simple, classic, quality Italian dishes – fish, seafood, chicken, steak, pasta, risotto, vegetarian – prepared with passion. A welcome smile, an appetising menu, cosy atmosphere and an Italian dining experience at a fair price. What more could you want?

What a find La Concha in Edinburgh is…
Italian food at it’s finest and given the quality of the meal we enjoyed the bill represented value for money. The menu, like the restaurant, is small….I think 5 starters and mains, but I’m sure this is done to enable the dishes on offer to be crafted to perfection. I could have happily ordered any dish from the menu and enjoyed it. Truly a splendid experience that we will definitely repeat when next in Edinburgh.
